Christmas Styling with Adairs

Happy Thursday!!

We are well on the way to Christmas now with under a month to go, so today I’m going to share with you all the shopping links and images for various festive looks I have styled for Adairs this year. The 2018 Christmas range has left me seriously starry eyed and I was surprised at what a large range there is to choose from. Whatever style you’re wanting to achieve this holiday season, Adairs has you covered!

I chose to stick with a modern Christmas theme this year to compliment my furniture and the rest of our home. After fluffing our tree (which is the 7ft one linked below) I used plenty of twinkle lights to fill the centre of the tree, closest to the trunk. This leaves more room to hang decorations and minimises cords being visible. We then decorated it in an assortment of metallic, white and blush baubles, using different shapes and textures to give a wow factor. As a general guideline, I place one style of bauble at a time starting with the largest, so I know they’ll be separated and the tree will look visually balanced at the end. Below are the decorations I used in my hero look. Please feel free to shop the look and take advantage of the current sale prices.

I also styled a rustic branch tree filled with lots of enchanting little decorations! These were my favourite decorations to style because they are super whimsical, fun and could be used as sentimental pieces that appear every year on the tree as your children grow. Chet loved helping and took a special liking to the woollen animals, in particular the mouse with the ‘cup of tea’ haha… Although he has requested Adairs bring out a cat next year lol!! If you want to add a bit of twinkle, these string lights are perfect and you can hide the base of the battery pack behind the tree stand (shop here.) I also found that by winding the lights around the base of the branches (closest to the trunk) it helped secure them in place a bit better so they don’t swivel as much. Please feel free to shop the look and take advantage of the current sale prices.

Next up were some more enchanting decorations with a beautiful organic look. The wood, wool and burlap textures look gorgeous together and the metallic berry products add a bit of luxe without being too over the top or glitzy. My favourite piece is the little reindeer with the detailed saddle and glitter antlers. Too cute!! I snipped off the hanging cord and will use it as standing decoration… it deserves it’s own limelight right?! Both the laser cut town and the dome are battery operated which look amazing lit up at night, especially styled next to the berry tree. Give me a bit of shine or sparkle at Christmas and I’m a happy girl!! Please feel free to shop the look and take advantage of the current sale prices.

The last look we created was this bright, fun, modern tree. I have a confession though! I actually styled this tree before I knew how to correctly ‘fluff’ one. After a quick tutorial on youtube, and about 40 mins of branching out and tilting the stems you can see just how much fuller and fluffier my top images ‘hero look’ is in comparison to the below. None the less, I love the vibrancy of these decorations and how the flamingos instantly inject a punch of colour into the space. Another aspect of the Adairs Christmas range I admire, is that lots of different pieces compliment each other for example, the tea cup set, gift swing tags and the Santa sacks all consist of either the same print, or same colours… making matchy, matchy people (like myself) weak at the knees! Please feel free to shop the look and take advantage of the current sale prices.

Well that’s a wrap from me! I hope you enjoyed these four fab Christmas looks and got some inspiration from the images. I have tried my best to link all the main items but if you have seen something not listed on the ‘shop the look’ section, please comment below and I’ll respond with an answer. I hope you all have the most amazing, love filled festive season with your family and friends.

Much love,

T xx
