Happy Friday everyone!
I hope you had a lovely week and are looking forward to the weekend as much as I am!
With spring fast approaching, I want to show you a collection of beautiful floral prints that I recently put together. I find artwork is one of the easiest ways to change the look of a room, and with so many on the market you can find some great, affordable designs. I have tried to showcase a wide range of colours, styles and stores in hope that something will catch your eye. A special mention to Jenni for taking my original list from 15 prints to 20 lol!!
In my selections (as always) I have chosen budget friendly options as well as limited edition pieces, that are more expensive. I know that it’s not always realistic to buy new art/homewares every season but flowers are a versatile subject matter that are certainly not limited to spring styling. To make everything that tiny bit easier, I will also list a bunch of my favourite ready made poster frames, as well as a few framing professionals further down. Enjoy!

I love them all and can’t actually decide on my favourite… but what if you’re not a floral type of girl? … or maybe you cannot talk your partner/hubby into yet another flower print- I have you covered with some gorgeous shrub designs! Below are my favourite three prints that will bring life to your home without being too floral or feminine.
Lastly, I get asked a lot where I buy my poster frames from so I will list a few places for you to check out. For the expensive pieces of art that I own, I get them framed at Arts Edge in Joondalup. If you’re in central Perth Gallery 360 in Subiaco are great too. If you’re based in the eastern states, Kara at Forman Picture Framing is your go to lady. If you want a ready made frame, the following stores are where I look first.
‘Frame Depot’ poster frames at Spotlight are probably my fave, especially the timber one in 50x70cm. I don’t know if it has proper glass but it’s not the plastic stuff that distorts the look of your prints. It’s thick like glass but not as heavy (so clueless sorry.) Shop here.
Officeworks have great frames in a tonne of different colours, sizes and frame thicknesses. I know some of the frames they stock are glass (I’ve smashed my fair share of them) but it’s probably best to choose one in person because I can’t remember the brand I bought sorry. Shop here.
Norsu Interiors have a gorgeous range of poster frames and the larger sizes have a string already attached. Gosh a string makes things so much easier to hang!!! Shop here.
Ummm, who else…Country road have some elegant/ streamline frames that I obsess over and they also have a video on ‘How to hang a Frame Wall’ if you’re stuck on gallery wall positioning. Shop here.
Then of course you have kmart, target, freedom furniture and general discount stores that also stock affordable frames to hang your new artwork in.
Well I hope for anyone still reading, this post has been both eye candy and informative at the same time. I can’t wait to see more floral prints popping up in my feed soon with Spring quickly heading our way. If you have any questions please fire away and I’ll respond as soon as I can 🙂 Have a fab weekend.
Much Love,
T xx
